Engineered Wood:
1- Its thickness is from 14 mm to 22 mm.
2- The surface is from 4 mm to 10 mm of hardwood (like; oak, beech, mahogany,...etc.)
3- The rest 12 mm are of softwood (like; plywood, beech-pine, birch).
Sanding of engineered wood:
1- The engineered wood can be sanded and re-painted where it loses 0.05mm each time
during sanding process.
Installation of engineered wood:
1- The method of installing engineered wood is called floating.
2- With this technique, your engineered wood is not mechanically fastened to your
subfloor.
3- A thin pad is placed between the engineered wood and the subfloor.
4- A floating floor offers easy and fast installation and has its advantages.
5- It’s protected against moisture.
6- It reduces noise transmission.
7- It is softer under foot and gives rich value.
